Mehfil Bistro - Incline Village

So glad I finally got to eat at the new location in Incline! I went months ago to their spot in Truckee and loved the food, and the quality of food here more than exceeded expectations!

Despite being understaffed, the wait for our food was perfectly reasonable, and the quality of the food definitely made the short wait worth it.

The staff is super friendly, and the owner came out personally to ask how our food was, which is a very kind and personal touch.

I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food is good, but the operations are bit rough around the edges.
The interior needs some remodeling to make it match the prices.
The booths are not very comfortable, and you will feel all the moving around by the people behind you.
Wait staff are very friendly, but they have a tendency to forget your requests.
Plates and glasses are nice, but the silverware is about as cheap and low quality as is possible.
As for the food, the flavor is pretty good. The portions look small, but they are actually plenty filling.
The butter chicken was very tasty, but not very much chicken - mostly sauce.
The potato and cauliflower was great. The garlic naan was great (but it did come out late).
I will be back, I just hope the service and decor can catch up to the food quality.

Delicious Indian food! So glad to have this new restaurant in the neighborhood. Prepare to be patient & wait a little while for takeout. Worth the wait :)

Came in from out of town and found the best restaurant in this area of Tahoe. Unreal food. The chef cooks with such a refined sense of aromatics and spices; the flavors are explosive. If you’re looking for a fantastic dinner, this is the place to go. Enjoy!

Our family drove through Incline village and found this place. We had decided to stop here and the food was delicious. The naan was crispy and had a nice texture to it. The chicken and gravy in the butter chicken was very tasty.The staff were also very nice and treated us well. Also our kids enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing by as you won't regret it.
