Others have mentioned that this is a tiny restaurant, so reservations are recommended. I like the intimacy of a small restaurant. We had the window seat overlooking the Truckee River.

Hubby had the chicken scallopini. The chicken was tender, but the sauce was a bit over lemony for our taste. My fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was a delight. Tender chicken pieces and lots of it. Great Alfredo sauce.

Tonight was out first time dining at Marcolino's. The owner was delightful along with the rest of the staff. They were attentive without being pushy or even very noticed. Filling water glasses and clearing dishes without interrupting our conversation. We actually had to ask the to leave plates to show off how we ate everything in reach. The food was great. Memories of Italy played on the walls and danced on my tongue. Can't wait to return. We had the fried Raviolis, pesto tortellini, and Chicken Marcella.

From the moment we stepped in the people made this place inviting! And after we sat every moment was amazing. The men we served us were so helpful accommodating, especially with our smalll
Children. The food was so divine! Every thing we had all the way to dessert and wine! We highly recommend and we will be back!!

I love to see a favorite food truck from Reno's food truck Friday turn into a brick and morter restaurant and to remain downtown. There isn't enough restaurants that aren't attached to a casino that are truly worth eating at again and again. This place is going to be one of my go to for some take out and dinner with friends.

I thought the server was great. This place is still a small hole in the wall but worth making a reservation or trying your luck before too many people discover it and tell their foodie friends.

All I can say is WOW! What a hidden gem in downtown Reno. My wife and I were next door listening to some music and had some friends stop by after eating here at Marcolino’s. They couldn’t say enough about how great the food was so my wife came over to eat and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing and the portions were big. We will be back.
