Great service, always good.
Is Port of subs is really clean the people made my food quick and nice and they were great customer service
Normally I really try to support and patronize local places, and although Port of Subs has grown to include many stores, it's still homegrown, having started right here in downtown Reno back in the seventies. I know that because I worked in the very first one for a short time when I was in high school. And I still do patronize them occasionally, but not as often as I once did. For some reason, they refuse to offer a decent vegetarian option like most Subways do for example. The veggie patty at Subway is really good in my opinion. Port of Subs offers only a veggie sandwich, which is basically a salad on a bun, which isn't very satisfying, especially in the colder months. So I realize that as a vegetarian, I'm not the best source for information about a sandwich shop that specialized in meat based food, unless my review is being read by other vegetarians, at least in this case. There isn't really much else to say about the experience, because otherwise it was pretty typical and unremarkable.
I simply can't find a better sub sandwich. They keep it simple and make a great sandwich. I usually choose dr from one of the 18 choices but mix it up and go off the board and make special requests and the employee is always happy to accommodate. My wife especially likes that she can get spinach and cucumber on her sandwich and I love the freshness of the ingredients. Whenever I want a sub I'll go out of my way to get a Port of Subs.
