When this place is suggested, I immediately smile thinking about that burger! Ugh! I want one now while writing this! ❤️🍔❤️ I have nothing but fond memories eating, drinking, and laughing here.
I really enjoyed Royce. The staff were fun and did a great job. The drinks and food were wonderful. The only reason it was 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a bit pricey for 2 beers and a burger. I will definitely be back.
I came here on a Sunday night with my 8 year old daughter. I think they have a good amount of outdoor seating but we indoors there aren’t a ton of options. Mostly it’s couches and you share a large coffee table with the couch across. Pretty cool ambiance and very different. Feels like I’m in my buddies basement bar in Eau Claire Wisconsin! I ordered 2 different cocktails… the price seemed a tad high for how much you get but they were definitely tasty. Fries are very subjective but I’m not a huge fan of shoestring fries and didn’t seem like we got too many however they were pretty decent. Burgers were good 4/5 and we also ordered fried cheese curds that in Wisconsin would be a 2/5 but in Reno were a 3.5/5… it did seem to have a regulars vibe and at one point I had to wait for a beer while the server/bartender talked with some ladies who frequent the place and it was discussed that they were super crowded for a Sunday night but the tips stunk because it wasn’t regulars - sort of rubbed me the wrong way. I also would say there are way more kid friendly burger places…
No arguing that the burgers here are phenomenal! I give it 4 stars for the fries which I also recognize is super subjective depending on how you like them, so if you like them skinny and slightly crispy then consider this a 5 star review but I thought they were pretty average compared to the quality of the burger. Wish I could give a half point though for the selection of dips you get for the fries. Regardless, service was super friendly and quick. Be sure to put this on your list in Reno.
Very interesting place. They have great drinks and a good selection of craft beer with awesome burgers and really good wings.
