Rusty Taco

I only gave it 3 stars for food delivery. (Not drivers fault)
When you order the food it is cold. Not because of the driver it is because they make it and let is sit there for whenever.
The last time I ordered for delivery I scheduled delivery time.
All the food, except the quest, came ice cold. And I watched as we all do, the driver pick up and come straight here.
It should not have been ice cold.
After heating up the food it was awesome.
Make it when it is time. Not when you get the order and let it sit.
When we eat there or pick it up ourselves it is always hot just not when you get it delivered.

A refreshing new entry into the Reno food scene (desert). Awesome and inventive food is paired with a nice little bar, which is often managed by Gigi - an awesome character. One of my pet peeves is a properly poured beer - and this is only one area where this man exceeds. Service is awesome and the food quality is absolutely excellent and has an authentic vibe. It's a chain, but highly recommended!

Since the day Rusty Taco has opened, we have enjoyed the Service, the Quality and the People this restaurant has in place. Well done for such an amazing meal. Adam the bartender has been there since they opened and we make sure that he is the one we go see for the great experience. Consistency is key to giving the best experience and Adam and the rest of the staff give exactly that.

Oh yeah…and the margarita options are off the hook 🪝🍹

Review: lunch was the Fajita Taco & Nachos with beef. Taco was good, no issues there. I asked for a flour tortilla & it was fine. Flavors were good but nothing stood out. They have a margarita machine & bar!!! Decors was good & the bathroom was very clean. BUT…

The standout ⭐️ of the show was the beef nachos. They’re light, not heavy, nachos which is great, not drowned in cheese, but the flavoring of the beef was out of this world! WOW! I was seriously blown away by how great the beef tasted!

My biggest gripe is the price point. The taco is really more like a $3 taco, not a $5 taco & my friends agreed. Overall I like this place & cleanliness but the price point is a tad high for me.

Have been waiting for this to open all summer! Not traditional Mexican food but absolutely amazing, unique tacos. We have tried grilled fish, shrimp, bbq, a breakfast taco and a classic Rusty taco with their amazing pineapple relish. Also…bottomless chips and queso that is made fresh daily. Oh, I should probably also mention the bar with good beers on tap and fun cocktails. Plus….the whole place has a great sense of humor!
