Sardina's Italian Bistro

Amazing food. Service is a little slow but not in a bad way. Highly recommend we will definitely go back.

AMAZING FOOD! Great ambiance! My wife and I had a date night and it was a great experience all around.

We ended up at Sardina's because we didn't know Zeppelin was a 21 and over RESTAURANT, so we couldn't eat there with our teen kids (that concept really irked us). Sardina's has a weird little layout, with a few downstairs tables all by themselves then the upstairs. My kids thought their spaghetti was too sweet (they like sour, acidic), but we adults all LOVED our entrees. I had the halibut with a butter caper sauce, my husband had the veal Saltimbocca, and my uncle had steak, Parmesan crusted. The sauce on my fish was so delicious, and my husband's mashed potatoes were divine. I think you only get mashed potatoes OR a vegetable. I got asparagus - 6 spears. So I guess I would've liked that you get BOTH the potatoes and vegetables, and a little more generous portion of veggie. But we really enjoyed our meal. Whenever we're in Reno, we'll probably go back!

I have heard of this restaurant, but had never tried, well I have been missing some great food at a reasonable price.
This is Sicilian Italian food which is distinctly different from normal Northern Italian.
This reminds me of The Godfather with lots of tradition and garlic.
Love it.
The Tiramisu is off the chart, huge portion with a smooth creamy amaretto taste.
You won’t be disappointed in the food.
Service is slow, but it’s family, so enjoy.
Prices are moderate, so excellent value too.

Three seniors appreciated the tables downstairs and didn't have to walk up the stairs. Food was excellent! Nice sever and a great option for meals with half plates offered thanks for a great meal.
