Sizzle Pie

I stopped in and grabbed a couple slices. The pizzas on display don't look like anything special, but when they pass one of those bad boys through their toasting machine, it transforms to a piping hot and delicious experience. I would say it's a New York style pizza, but I'm sure I'd get yelled at by some over zealous New Yorker saying that it's nowhere close because they didn't use water directly from the Hudson or whatever. So, I will say it is a very thin crust and big slices which almost necessitates folding it in half to eat. The crust is light and has I nice amount of crunch from the toasting machine they put it through. Flavors were amazing. I tried a pepperoni because I think that's the law when you try a new pizza joint. The pepperoni wasn't trying to be something it isn't, meaning it tasted like good quality pepperoni and not some spicy over seasoned meat chunks. I also tried a slice with white sauce and goat cheese. That one was surprisingly good. Like up there in top 10 slices of pizza I've tried. Overall, I really liked the food and atmosphere. The guy at the counter was super nice. There was a lot more seating than I expected and the outside area is very inviting.
The reason for 4 stars is because we later ordered delivery so my family could try this delicious experience. The pizzas were soggy and limp and didn't really do anything to set itself apart from any other pizza, even though the price indicated it should provide one the opportunity to achieve full Nirvana. They definitely need that extra pass through the magical toaster. I would suggest trying this on location instead of from the comfort of your own home.

Just ate here for the first time and it's such a nice location. It's clean, affordable, and has an adorable patio with a fire going outside. I can't wait for summer to bring my pup here.

Being from Chicago, I am very picky about pizza. This is so unique and delicious, even I come here on purpose! The garlic knots are so good and the dressing for the Rabbit salad makes it enjoy to eat. I highly recommend Sizzle Pie.

Tons of options and great value as well. A slice of pizza and a side salad runs $8. Regardless of your diet choices there are plenty of options, Vegan Vegetarian and Meat Eatters all have at least 3 by the slice options. Gluten Free pizza isn't readily available by the slice, but they can cook up a whole one very quickly. I've tried virtually every offering they have and even the stranger sounding pies are great. Can not recommend highly enough

This is a really nice pizza place. The pizza, appetizers, and salads are amazing! You can buy a whole pizza or get it by the slice. They offer dine-in, pick up, and delivery, so it's super convenient as well. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is great. The outdoor seating area is perfect for when the weather is nice. They also have a full bar. It is a great place to go grab some food and have a drink with some friends.

Some things to keep in mind is that it can get super busy, so if you're eating there, seating isn't always easy to find and it can get quite loud if you sit inside. It's also in midtown, so finding parking is not always easy in that area.

Overall great place to go for a quick bite or as a place to socialize with friends over drinks. Definitely a new go-to place in town.
