Good place for breakfast food. Service was good too

Everything was just ok. Went in on a Friday night about 11. Restaurant wasn't busy; we were one of 3-4 tables, and at least one of those already had its food. Server seemed a little inattentive as we waited with closed menus for several minutes before she returned to check on us. I ordered a burger (asked if I could have medium-rare and the server said "of course") with sweet potato fries, and my girlfriend the Caesar salad. Burger came out well-done with regular fries. I pointed out the fry mix-up, server took it back, and several minutes later got the proper fries. Salad was nothing special, but not bad. Without trying to sound cheap, the server could have greatly redeemed the dining experience by either a) leaving the regular fries for us (because they were going to get thrown away anyway); or b) removing the up-charge for the sweet potato fries due to the error.

Almost all of the individual things mentioned are understandable/forgivable on their own, especially in a busy restaurant. But the culmination of all the errors and mediocre food while the restaurant was slow made the experience disappointing. I won't go back.

The food here is difficult. If you get what you ordered its amazing. However, if they messed up once on your food they probably didnt only mess up on the main thing. The staff knows how to deal with this in a great way though. They're also (usually) very friendly. The interior of this place is amazing. I love the 50s style.

Tom-GM was AMAZING!!! I called ahead and explained our adult daughter with autism spectrum. He made sure we were in a quiet place so there were no issues there. Next, Tom oversaw my order because recently I am having difficulty with gluten. Tom went above and beyond for my dietary restrictions. I felt like a princess. The waitress kept checking in with us and even the bus boy was fussing over us.

I ordered the ribeye and I asked for it to be cooked medium. It was cooked well done and dry to the bone. Thank God my waitress came to my rescue. She had to have them redo my order. IT took twice, but they finally got it right.
