Service was great actually.
The fish in/on the rolls was pretty good.
The sushi rice in the rolls however was the worst I’ve ever had. Hard, almost crunchy, flavorless mass.
I don’t know why we kept eating but somehow we were hungry.

I’m not sure most people would notice since the American palate isn’t typically acclimated to good rice much less proper sushi rice.
My 12 years in Japan leave me having a difficult time finding good sushi anywhere outside of a major metro. This was pretty bad.

The management might want to check the staff on their chattiness near the register, and loud cleaning of floors in the food prep area while food was being prepped... and also the prep of bleach mop buckets while people were still eating.
Otherwise I suppose if you’re not picky and want to eat a bunch of rolls then this is probably a great place to go with friends and family.
I’ll keep on searching.

Tha Joint came highly recommended by friends. It was good. Not my favorite, but good. The ambiance was a little bare for my tastes. We sat at the sushi bar. Service was attentive and they were busy the whole time.

Friendly, positive staff. Great sushi always. Bit crowded, but that's to be expected with a good restaurant. First time trying this location, will definitely be coming back. Would highly recommend. Odd theme for a sushi restaurant.
