Gold Ranch RV Resort

The Gold Ranch RV Resort will definitely be where we stop and stay again on our next trip!
This park has large, long spaces and was well cared for. The trees and lush grass were a welcome addition with the Reno Nevada area heat.
The staff was very helpful and polite.

This is by far one of my favorite campgrounds I have been to. The views are incredible. There is so much on the property that it's almost like a small community. The sites are walking distance to Jack In The Box, the casino, store, gas station, etc. Super convenient. I was here for a week and every single day I hiked the numerous trails up the mountain and I also mountain biked. Everyone was super friendly and it was so peaceful. I cannot wait to come back!

This is a great place to stay when visiting the Reno area! The park is extremely clean and well maintained, and the location couldn't be better. And the office staff? Very helpful and happily answered all my questions. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars? The sprinklers come on each night, making it difficult to leave a chair or mat out. Other that that, absolutely no complaints and I would happily stay there again should I be in the area.

A really nice, well run RV park in a surprisingly quiet and beautiful mountain setting considering its close proximity and easy access to I-80. The long back-in paved space we had was level and had plenty of room on either side so we didn’t feel crammed in. Also long enough for our 27 ft travel trailer and tow vehicle to fit without unhitching, since we were only staying one night.
The casino was nothing special but the food and service in their coffee shop/restaurant were very good.
Will definitely stay here again on our way through the Reno-Tahoe area.

It's a pretty campground. The showers were clean and nice. Our one negative was the trees needing to be trimmed. We had a hard time getting our RV in and out of the site without damaging it or the trees. The casino is in need of updating. The hours for the coffee shop and restaurant were limited. Luckily the service and food at the restaurant were good.
