Jail House Motel & Casino

We've stayed here before and will stay again. Very nice rooms. Great value. Nice to walk the historical parts of the city.

arrived late and was checked into my room- I went right to bed- it was comfortable, the parking lot was well lit and I felt comfortable parking my car in it. This was a quiet casino hotel- all the amnenties one would expect- warm shower- spacious rooms. Nice, convient location.

Out of all the places to stay in Ely this one is my favorite!! First & foremost its the people that warm up a place & set the tone for good customer service. All employees i interacted with that day & others (i stay there every time im in Ely) were over the top nice, kibd, warm hearted & genuinely interested in my well being, safety & restful, peaceful stay. They heard my travel story, 72 hrs of traveling picking up & dropping off passengers. They understood id had some rough patches of traveling. From the housekeeping supervisor to front desk & registration personnel they all worked together to get me in a room & out of my car by 10am that morning. Usually id hsve to wait till check in, 3pm. Not with these guys!
I couldnt find my credit card so they took my bosses credit card info over the phone & the room was paid for and all wS taken care of. By 10:30am i was in my room & slept quietly & peacefully all day until my next start time at 2am.
Yes id recommend Jail House Motel/hotel to anyone staying in Ely.

I dropped a passenger off in Ely & due to the long hours Id been driving i realized i needed some R&R. I didnt haveo

It was a kewl experience, they have cell #s up above the room's. My wife made the suggestion, they could've done to make it more of a "Jail" experience would be the keys for the room's. Make them into the shape of a cell door key or something like that. All in all the staff was very friendly, room's were clean. Easy to find.
