Prospector Hotel & Gambling Hall

I absolutely love this place. It’s clean, has so much character. There’s so many things to see just inside the lobby and as you walk to your room. The artwork is awesome. The staff are all very friendly too. The margaritas restaurant has great food, good service and the prices are fair. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We came for two nights for a family wedding. We are still here arrived yesterday evening and we e won $1100.00 in their casino too.
So our whole trip is basically paid for. ❤️👍🏼
Also it is dog friendly and the “pet wing” of the place has dog art work on the walls and the maid cart had doggie treats too.

Excellent hotel! We were not sure what we were going to get since there are very limited options near Great Basin National park. We were very surprised at the quality of the hotel. The rooms were extremely clean. The showers had great water pressure and were able to get very hot. The beds were comfy. The fridge has baking soda in it which shows the extra care they take for the little things. When we checked in we got a free gift and free drink tickets. The service was very nice. Overall a great hotel!

My husband and I really loved this hotel. It was so clean and it had tons of character. The casino was super fun. We had lots of good wins and free games! The best. The restaurant was also really tasty.

We stayed for one night. Driving up we didn’t expect much of anything. Walking the halls reminds me of 90s- early 2000s. When we went into our room though you can see and feel the personal touches. The building and structure may be older, but you can tell the owner/operator cares and tries. The rooms are upgraded and very clean, the AC is great, beds are comfortable. Toiletries are decent. They give you a rubber duck in the bath/shower. It’s just nice to see that a personal effort is given. We will need to come back when we go on another trip.

We are visiting from Oklahoma at I was a bit skeptical when booking this hotel. Man was I surprised. What an amazing place. The front desk lady has amazing customer service skills. Your get 2 free drinks and a souvenir. The room was super clean, beds were perfect. It was quiet. Margaritas restaurant was delicious. We ate breakfast at margaritas also and Ms. Claudia was amazing along with the food. I would definitely stay here again!!
