“So apparently this place is now called "Tamal Itas Restaurant" or Marielas at least that's what the menu hanging on the wall says. It has been under new ownership for the last few months. It's inside this flea market building all the way in the back left. I was hoping that the quality would be the same as when it was Freddy's and it IS! The owner is a very sweet woman who checked up on us multiple times. The freshness and quality was all there. The frying oil I could tell was not old so the flautas tasted fresh. I wish her the best and I recommend everyone stop by and try it.”

“I went in August 2021 on my cross country road trip, in which I also planned to eat as many different burgers as I could. This was the first place I stopped and was the only burger stop I didn't have planned out, I just ran into it. It's pretty much the perfect classic burger, crispy, juicy, fresh. I had burgers in 7 states and this was my favorite!”

“So pretty much everything they say about the place is true the owner is cranky kind of dirty kind of smelly but, once you look around you can't help but be one over by the place. The owner really is a nice lady when you get to talking with her. She just has her ways about her things she does and doesn't like especially the ridiculousness of masks for covid. I don't blame her. This is my business and I don't believe in that goodbye have a good day. The place is just so historical it's worth whatever you have to pay just to be able to be inside there and hear the stories from the owner about the place and the town. I'll definitely be back”

“I have found this place by Google search. Didn't get any surprise for my buffet lunch. Few reasons deserve for 4 stars from me because...price is good, place is clean, nice staff. I have paid $15.99 for buffet lunch and later on...the casher said we will pay less ( save approx $4) if we have a gambling card. So you can go register a gambling card before you go and you will save for eat in the restaurant. This restaurant opens 24hrs and I think I will come for my midnight meal..:-P”

“This restaurant is very big. You can definitely have parties and banquets. Most of the food is typical Bulgarian, some Mediterranean and they serve pasta and chicken as well. I ordered the "Kashkaval pane". This dish is fried yellow bulgarian cheese and it's usually delicious! They serve that with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. The cheese was not fresh this time. On the other side the tomatoes and cucumbers were very fresh and delicious. I also had Parlenka pita bread (garlic add on). It was so yummy! The waiter was awesome! On top of his game and very fast! Always checking if you are doing ok, or if you need anything. The manager also came around a couple of times. Great customer service! The restroom was the cleanest I have ever seen in any restaurants or a public place. Rose pedals soap for your hands, lotion and they even have poo-pourri. Once again super clean, I was amazed! There is a small stage and a bar. I think they have a second floor, but I didn't go to check it out. Really nice decorations everywhere, all around (take a look at the chandeliers on the pictures). Great customer service! I love this place and I am definitely going back again and again...! It's like a little adventure, escaping in the Mediterranean world and culture. I definitely recommend it to any one - try this place. You'll be very happy you did and very pleased!”
