Golden Gables Inn

I was incredibly impressed by our stay given the low price of the rooms. Best room-to-value ratio I’ve experienced. Incredibly clean, and also cute.

My only complaint is that there is no front desk person after 8 or 9, so if you need something (toilet paper, towels, etc.), you’re out of luck.

I never write reviews but this place deserves one! First off, we arrived to NH early..Husband booked a room for my bday. I called to ask if we could keep my chocolate covered strawberries( bday gift)in fridge until check in... she said yes but then said our room was ready and we could actually check in early! The lady at the front desk was very nice when we arrived.
The room was on 2nd floor in the back facing court yard. We got the king room with fireplace jacuzzi and private balcony. Very clean, bathroom was spacious and king bed was so comfy! The jacuzzi was PERFECT for both of us, nice size. Also changed colors from blues to pinks which was a nice touch!
Nearby is this Italian Bistro called Vito Marcellos... highly suggest! We will deff be back, thank you for such an amazing experience especially on my birthday!

Here is the review in which I never really do… I first want to give the misses behind the counter a huge thank you! You are wonderful! Thank you for being informative and very helpful even when I needed help with the TV. The rooms are great and very clean. I have worked in the hotel hospitality before and I really do appreciate a great hotel! Not often do I leave a review, but this one I thought was needed! I will definitely be back soon!

Great location very close to everything. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she loved it! Very smooth check in and check out process. We got a room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace and it was amazing. Watching the Celtics game while in the jacuzzi sipping a cold beer is an experience every man should have.

This is a really nice place!
We had stayed here before, in their lower building...which feels more secluded, much like a Retreat Centre.
We had been given a certain room and when I mentioned our prior room, Destiny (GM) upgraded us to that lower building! Yea! But the room was not ready and Destiny & Cathleen decided to give us an upstairs room, with a patio in another of their buildings. This one was roomy and nice, but we heard the traffic all night long. :/. The service was top notch but I dropped the lovely room down because of the road noise.
Overall, a pleasant stay but we left wishing for the first room given to us (but not ready) in the lower building..
