Nice cosy place with very hard working waitress. Good range of beers at reasonable prices. Just slightly let down by very average pizza.

Local place with terrible service. The band consisted of one guy with a guitar singing karaoke songs from his computer and another on percussion/synthesizer. The sound was diatorted. It sounded better from outside but it was danceable and many different ages were there having fun. Overall, a good night out.

We went with 6 people for dinner but what was strange is there was no hostess to meet you. It was up to you to find a place and was told by a waitress to stand by a table. We were lucky after 15 minutes we were sitting. The food was fair but there was good entertainment.

Shannon door is one of our favorite restaurants and is a "Valley Original" restaurant in the Mount Washington Valley area of Western Maine and Eastern New Hampshire.
The wait staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Food has always been very good. Many of the tables have window views of the surrounding mountains.
Their outside deck was damaged from the ice last winter so it's currently closed.
A live band was getting ready to play near the end of our meal. I always enjoy the live musicians that perform there.

Excellent brews, delicious food, friendly staff.

The Shannon Door is my preference when I'm in the area. Sure there's other places out there, but only here have I found the laid-back pub atmosphere I enjoy. Wish there was something more like it back home!

Ordering personal pizzas makes for a quick and tasty to-go meal, or stay awhile and enjoy all that The Shannon Door has to offer with regular live music Thursdays through Sundays.
