Stayed here for a couples getaway. Nothing too fancy here, but we enjoyed our stay. It is pretty clean, although there was a few webs in our room and bathroom. The indoor pool could have used a little more cleaning as well since it was a little dirty. We enjoyed the rowboat a lot on the lake since we really love to fish and we were able to catch some decent sized pickerel.
The main setback is the location since everything is about a 20 minute drive, and most restaurants are not open past 7pm or so.

Nice place to visit and stay for a few nights if you enjoy outdoor activities, and if you bring plenty of drinks and of microwaveable foods.

For the dollar I would call Is the actual lodging a 3 a 1/2 stars.(only stayed at the hotel style dog friendly lodging) But with free paddle boarding , canoes, kayaks, a sandy dredged swimming area 3 beaches,2 of which are dog friendly and access to the entire lake and hiking trails purity spring is a self contained northern nature experience. Definitely got my moneys worth while paddling

come off peak and youll feel like you haave your own private lake

Amazing time. Phone Service there was horrible!!! Too busy making memories and enjoying ourselves to take a lot of photos; But we are had an awesome time!!! Paddle boats, several hiking trails and fishing. Inflatable rock climbing on lake, kayaks, volley ball, corn hole, disc golf, tennis, community grills and fire pits plus we had two fire pits and two grills for our private use too much to list: Everything. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, lockers, changing rooms. Several beaches, but we preferred our private beach lol Less people. We went on lake, went on canoes, kayak, paddle boats, fishing boat, grilled, sat at firpit and made s’mores and roasted hot dogs. Lodging was nice, pull out air mattress sofas, jacuzzi bath in each bathroom. It was perfect getaway for us. There’s so much to do and it's all included. BOOKING A WEEK next year. This was our second stay and last year a lot of things were closed due to Covid, but we had a enjoyable stay. This year was even better as the pool, hot tub and exercise room was open as well as the restaurant. While the entire restaurant was not open, the area where the bar was and you could order some breakfast items as well as dinner. Like many places, trying to get help prevented them from opening the entire restaurant. They did have s lobster bake or steak on Thursday and Sunday breakfast on the island. Sadly the rain stopped the breakfast option. While it did rain most of our stay in July which seems to be the norm for New England, we did have a good time and our granddaughter enjoyed swimming in the lake with her mom and dad, doing some fishing and just playing at the playground. We have already booked 2022 as you cannot beat the friendliness and the majority of guests are family are the same. This is our annual Christmas present and hard to beat for a fun and great family getaway. Want a nice family place to go, check it out, this definity fills that requirement. They also have skiing in the winter for you snow enthusiast.
