We had a superb dining experience at Trenta! The atmosphere and service is warm, friendly and casual and everything we ordered was wonderful and beautifully presented. We decided to split several dishes and began with the scrumptious duck confit spring rolls and the large charcuterie plate with its excellent duck pâté. For dinner we had the Salad Lyonnaise and the spaghetti carbonara. The salad was perfectly balanced and not overdressed (a personal pet peeve!). Our delightful server Hannah recommended the Carbonara and it was out of this world delicious—the pasta is house-made, and you could tell. We did not leave a single bit on the plate!
After dinner we were surprised to be offered the chef’s Cocoa Puff Cheesecake! Even though we had had more than enough to eat, we tried it, and loved it. Chef Rob was kind enough to stop by our table to ask us for feedback, which we were happy to provide.
This newish establishment gave us an unexpectedly memorable evening. We recommend it highly, and will definitely be back next time we are in Wolfeboro!
Keep up the good work, and good luck, Trenta!
The food and atmosphere here were amazing! Each dish had such a balanced and unique flavor profile. I loved the wood-burning fireplace and cozy vibe. The staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. I highly recommend the tempura squash!
Excellent food and atmosphere, and a fantastic menu. I was served by Abby who was fantastic and made me feel right at home. Pasta and meatballs tasted just like my folks make back home, and loved it. Great domestic and import drink selection too, and you really can't go wrong!
I had a great time visiting trenta last Tuesday. It was the only place open in wolfeboro and so I stumbled upon it. Lucky for me I got to try this random beer from Europe...I'm not much for sours but this much like the menu surprised me. I am also not one for salads but when you have fresh greens.... That's a different story. The lion salad is epic and the chicken from varney family farms is pretty good. The staff knows most of the words on the menu, and that made me feel comfortable. Will return for the squash tempura and atmosphere.
