West Lake Asian Cuisine

I've been coming here to eat every summer for the past twenty years. Management has changed and a renovated interior has really brought this place forward. The addition of sushi to the menu was a great change, and everytime I've had it it's been delicious! I had a particularly delicious meal this time so I thought I should write a review and share just how tasty this place has become!

Just moved into Wolfeboro, hoping West Lake will become our go-to Chinese Restaurant. Generally we like to go the restaurant bar for a Mai-ti while waiting for take-out. The bar itself was the only reason I did not rate West Lake 5 stars ; could use a little more ambiance; a tv would be nice, some wall hangings, just a bit spartan for our tastes. The food? .. excellent! We always order the Crab Rangoon and these were among the best I have ever tasted. Ordered Basil Shrimp and a Green Curry Shrimp - both top notch full of flavor and firm shrimp and vegetables. And BTW, the Mai-Ti's were excellent, quite strong! West Lake has taken the place of our beloved Rose Garden back in MA; I suspect we will be back many times in the near future.
