The lobster bisque is amazing! Great vantage point, very friendly staff. Definitely going back again. Delectable burgers and grilled cheese and hand cut fries, yum!
Great place for dinner or lunch! The atmosphere is very comfortable and it feels like you are in a tree house. The food is great, too! They have a mix of seafood and burgers, including the Beyond Burger. Definitely a great place to stop if you need a break from the highway.
I'll echo other reviews - it feels like you're in a tree house and who wouldn't want to eat lunch in a tree house?! The lobster roll was one of, if not the best I've had! Perfectly warm, buttery, and incredibly fresh. The bun had a touch of garlic and was overflowing with lobster meat. The grilled cheese had a substantial amount of lobster, too. I saw other reviews comment that the cheese wasn't melted, but I found it to be so stringy and delicious...like a good pizza cheese and fun to eat! The onion rings were better than most I've tried - thin slices of onions and not as much batter as usual. The grilled cheese was good, but go for the lobster roll! If it weren't $21 a pop, I would've easily devoured a second one.
First, it's a historic Schoolhouse, but it looks like a tree house, which is really neat. The food was so good! I had the shrimp plate, they were crispy, the fries were hot and delicious. The chowder of out of this world. And the view is unreal. I had no room for ice cream, but I got some anyway.
What a nice little joint! Everything we had was good! Maybe a little under salted but I’d prefer it to be under than over.
The cold lobster roll was delicious with the splash of lemon juice. Surprisingly, the think onion rings were really good. The clam chowder was good but came out a little cold. The special clam strips that came with fries were also well prepared and delicious. Overall, this place did not disappoint and I’m glad I stopped by.
