Poor House Bar-B-Q

Got ribs and brisket combo w/ peach baked beans. Unquestionably best brisket and ribs I've ever had. Service, prices and portions were spot-on. Far exceeded my expectations. Cannot wait to go back here to try more offerings.

Excellent food. Fun staff. The food here isn't just from the truck to the grill. Their food is meticulously crafted from the main dish to the sauces. A new must try for the uppervalley!

1st experience was not totally satisfied. Spoke with the owner about lack of portion size and flavor and temp of food. Gave it a second chance and the results very favorable. Great atmosphere,good food, great staff and owner. Would recommend. A great addition to the community

Finally a new place in Canaan! Wonderful staff, excellent food, and a great fresh interior. My wife had a pork sandwich and I had the brisket sandwich. Both were really good. Also - finally a place in town where you can sit down for a drink. Long bar with mixed drinks and a small beer selection.

Shout out to our waitress, Kelly (I think). She was fantastic!
