0730hrs,Saturday. 8 patrons in the joint. PERFECT TIMING. Ordered up the sausage gravy/poached egg with a side of cherry wood bacon...... Excellent. House made cathead biscuit,& sausage gravy, spot on. Also on the table was a "skillet"of sweet potato/quinoa hash, poached egg with hollandaise, and bacon.Friendly, prompt service

First time visiting and we loved it! Food was at the table exactly 10 minutes after ordering. Very nice waitress. The atmosphere was awesome and really clean.
We got The Heater and The Pub's Choice. So much food!

Previous review prior to closing to reopen as breakfast:
Bought the orange chicken side and one Thai peanut wrap. ( They accidentally made two and gave me both which was very nice of them!) As many other people have mentioned on here and word of mouth the portion size for price is what I can’t get over with what I ordered and a bottled soda was $23. The wraps were the size of the palm of my hand and the orange chicken was not an authentic taste, I honestly can’t compare it to anything but my fiancé and I could not eat it. We were refunded which was very kind and the staff were very friendly. We will be coming back to try Just desserts but unfortunately not Taste.

Current review now that they have reopened as breakfast:

Food is much better this time around. Portions are bigger and there is FLAVOR. Biscuits and gravy was pretty good, biscuit was deceiving when I first saw it in the bowl but it was flaky and had great texture/flavor. Sausage tasted like the same sausage used on pizza’s but I didn’t mind it. The challah French toast didn’t look like it was from challah bread but it wasn’t bad just slightly soggy. ( Thank you for using Mac’s maple syrup!) Service was quick and kind. Breakfast for two with these meals including tip and only water for beverages was about $30.

They've done a great job with the decore! The space feels clean, bright, and welcoming. Service was outstanding and the food arrived fast and was very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with poached eggs. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. My only complaint, and this is just more of a preference thing, is that the dish comes with an enormous biscuit but not enough gravy. I think I'd order extra gravy next time. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and other than the too thin ham, he really enjoyed it. We also got pancakes for the table and they were absurdly wonderful - like vanilla cupcake pancakes. They might not be everyone's cup of tea but it was a nice treat. We are looking forward to trying more of the menu on our next visit.

The French toast was tasty. I had it with strawberries and a side of crispy bacon.
My partner had the classic breakfast with a side of corned beef hash. He liked all but hash. Just not his taste he said. The waitress Nicole was very sweet and took it off the bill. Which was not our goal in any way.
