The food tasted delicious. It did take awhile for our pizza which would have been fine but they forgot the pasta so it wasnt ready until we had completely eaten the pizza. The size of the pasta was pretty small as well. We wouldn't stop here again.
Besides the fact that the owner is incredibly rude, the food is really quite good. If you can get past her attitude the place isn't really that bad, just a quiet local pizza shop in NH.
Also don't forget to tell them when you try to pay with credit that charging an additional $2 fee is illegal.
Sure, the prices aren’t that of Dominies and the Portions maybe smaller than a chain restaurant but what you get in exchange is great pizza and a unique experience of an independent restaurant in the Notch. Look around, the area is a time warp- it’s vintage and delightful. I have been coming here since the early 90s and the food never disappoints. Sure, the lady can be a little intense on a busy night- I have seen it! But get her one on one on a slow rainy day and it’s fun! She’s old and quirky. The patio by the river is a great spot to enjoy some Homemade pizza and a cold beer after a long hike!
Great food! I have been here a few times and the food is amazing. Order at the counter then sit outside on the deck by the river and enjoy. Great pizza, subs, and pasta.
