We had to wait 1/2 and it was definitely worth the wait l. We were seated outside and it was a beautiful night. You get brought this little homemade load of bread when you sit down. Our waiter came right over and took our drink orders. They have eveything from salads to seafood to sandwiches. My husband got the prime rib I got the steak tips and both got homemade garlic mashed potatoes and there vegetable for the night was corn on the cob and it was local and all the food was out of this world. There desert menu is also great. Definitely go there if your in the area you wont be disappointed.
Excellent service and food. Our waiter was saw to it that our experience there was a good one. We were happy that we had made a reservations, otherwise we would have had quite a wait. That says something about them. We will be making a return visit.
It was good. The waitress was super friendly. We may have given it a better rating if they had what we wanted. They were out of the prime rib early in into the dinner service and that's what my boyfriend wanted. We both ended up with the seafood stew but his had a ton of sauce and mine had hardly any for dipping the bread. Plus I've never seen mussels so small in a restaurant. The flavor was really good though. I wish I had thought to take a picture to show the difference.
You know sometimes you have mixed feelings about something, and this is one of those times. The waiter was excellent, and went out of his way to make our visit as pleasant as possible. The onion soup was way too salty, but the clam chowder was delicious. The fish dishes and side orders were also very good. The shrimp and beef tip dishes could have been better. Doubtful that we will return to this restaurant. If you are hungry, and don't have expectations, this establishment is for you. If you have expectations, you may not have a satisfying experience. For us, after fine dining in other places, Gordi's left us with mixed feelings.
The bacon wrapped scallops are so tasty I ate one before taking a pic. Visited two days in a row, and scallops were great each time. Other food..., The first time was flawless. Second time was okay. Not sure if it was because they were busier, or just different staff. My suggestion is an early dinner for a better experience.
