Dave's Hot Chicken

It is very loud inside, thee music is so loud and you’re not able to hear your order number being called if you go sit at the tables. So naturally everyone is standing at the front by the counter waiting to hear their number to be called and no one is sitting at the tables. The line order is also in the front with the crowd waiting for their meal. It’s just a mess and overwhelming amount of people as soon as you walk in. The menu itself is simple and pretty straight forward. My boyfriend and I got the #2 combo which included 2 chicken sandwiches and a side of fries. We could each choose our own heat level as well which I liked. We both choose the “hot” heat level. We were pretty disappointed with the meal and the lack of coleslaw that was topped on each of our sandwiches. We each got about 1/2 table spoon coleslaw topped on each of our sandwiches, and the sandwiches just had a plain hamburger bun, I’ve seen better looking buns at Wendy’s. The “hot” level of the sauce was not hot at all, no sensation at spice, it would’ve been like we ordered mild instead. The tenders were small, the photos on their website portray otherwise . There was no Dave’s sauce on the sandwich either. The reason it is getting 3 stars instead of 2 stars was the tender itself was hot temperature wise, the fried breading had a good crunch to it, the fries had a good seasoning on it. We spent about an hour there, mostly waiting. Overall, disappointed and left hungry.

This place is amazing. Not only great food, but the service is incredible. Me and my boyfriend were helped by Cookie, who is the absolute best. She was the absolute sweetest, and made our time at Dave’s Hot Chicken, more than worth it. Every employee should seek out to be as hard working as Cookie.

This was my first time here. My g/f and I ordered two #2s. "Sliders" are the size of a normal chicken sandwich at many sit-down restaurants, so if you're a bit worried about not being full due to small portions, fear not. This also explains the higher than typical prices. You are getting a filling meal. The quality is great! Very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The milkshakes are also amazing! It's definitely worth trying if you like shake shack. The atmosphere is busy and loud. It's not a super huge issue, but it is hard to hear when they call your number from the other side of the room. Maybe put up a digital board facing the seating area with the orders that are ready. I'm definitely recommending this place to my fellow chicken and shake lovers!

4 stars. We did take out. Price is a little steep but The food was fresh and the portions are pretty large - the heat was definitely there! I was honestly impressed with the Mac n cheese. I had a lot of flavor and the pasta still had some bite to it

Edit. We have circled back after the grand opening die down. I'm changing to 5 stars because I had the opportunity to go order & pick up our dinner and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The inside is very different and gives you lots to look at while you in dine or wait. The food stayed consistently delicious and fresh and the establishment is very clean

Delicious! I got the #4 (1 slider and fries), with medium spice level. This was perfect for me. It wasn’t very spicy, I could handle it. The sandwich is pretty big (bigger than fast food fried chicken sandwiches). I got cheese on my sandwich and sauce.
Yum!! I will definitely be back! The resturant is clean and has a cool vibe.
Also it must be noted that the woman named Cookie that works are the front is super sweet!! She helped guide me through ordering since I was a first timer. She was so excited to help me and really seems to love Dave’s Hot Chicken and her job. You don’t meet people like that these days.
The guy that works near the front was also nice and checked in after I finished eating to see what I thought.
Again, 10/10. Excellent food, great atmosphere and kind people!
