The Rugged Axe

Such a great time at The Rugged Axe on Mother's Day. The owner is super friendly, personable and informative. He taught us before we threw and told us about how he started up his company and how his whole family is employed there now, so it turned into a family business! Absolutely love that, and we had a great time in general! We're already talking about going back for Ladies night!!

It was my first time at the rugged axe and they were so welcoming. They are really geared towards their costumers!! We didn’t know Monday’s were their league day and drove and hour to go check them out and they let us stay!! Even gave us the private room. They are family owned and just go above and beyond. I will def be coming back. This was so much fun and the atmosphere is so homey and comfy and the chili cheese dogs r good. By far one of my most favorite experiences. Thank you rugged ax family!

My brothers, dad, and I went here for an activity to do over the holiday break. It was a new experience for all of us, and we had a blast! The instructions and tutorial at the beginning was very useful for us who had never thrown axes before. We had some chili dogs as well, and after two hours, we were well satisfied on all fronts. I would definitely recommend this place for a day activity.

The entire staff was welcoming and helpful! This family owned & operated business has put so much love & care into every little detail - down to the environmentally friendly, cozy and locally-sourced decor, the snack shack goodies and making sure we had our techniques down and getting the axes to stick. It's a great place to hang out with friends and families and they also have a private event room available for booking for special or corporate events. We had a blast with our staff for a holiday party and would highly recommend. We can’t wait to come back with our teenagers for a family fun day 🥰

We had a great time here last night! It was our first time throwing and the experience was amazing. We have family here from England and we all had a great time together. The staff was very helpful in training us and getting excited about our first throws. They have a great beer selection with a few ax and tomahawk themed brews as well, so very fitting. The owners were great hosts and I would highly recommend for anyone to stop and and try it out!
