beautiful location (though not exactly convenient). service may be slow, but I've never had to wait for a table. great & interesting decorations, authentic to their farming roots. varied & eccentric gift shop.
the maple syrup comes out warm, and you can get it in any quantity you want in the shop.
What a great spot! Very eclectic decor that is reminiscent of the time when the maple barn was in operation. The server was pleasant and the food was wonderful - the warm maple syrup served with the food is an amazing detail. Highly recommend!
Even on a cold rainy Saturday this place was ridiculously packed. They have fresh donuts outside and a shop to pass the time, which is fantastic. Maple Bacon donut fresh out was so delicious. The food choices were fun and very filling. It wasn't your average breakfast diner. The old barn it is in was real good to look at the features of no nails being used and just a fun day with a lot of friends. Highly recommend this place if you don't mind waiting.
The maple sugaring end of it was great. The tour guide was outstanding and interactive with the kids and adults alike. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the dining experience. We waited well over an hour to be seated. Understandable seeing as it was busy. Then waited another 20 minutes for someone to come take our drink/food order. The waitress was nice enough but the good was just okay. Nothing stood out or wowed us. Not even the specials. Wouldn't rush to eat there again. Would go to the sugar house end of things again though.
Breakfast was great as usual. Wait was as usual, long, for a Sunday. Best to get in early. But today they were maple sugaring. Never took the tour until today and it was great. By the time we finished our table was ready.
Maple walnut pancakes were great. Portions plentiful. Next time I'll get the Mini Parker special.
Mason, NH is a little out of the way but Parker's is worth the trip!
