Axel's Food and Ice Cream

Food and ice cream are great. Not enough staff on a Sunday night. Agitated people waiting a long time, only 2 staff members.

We were the only ones there so the service was a bit slower than I would expect, but the ice cream was delicious as it always is!

Had to downsize from a scallop plate to a scallop roll as they were running out of scallops at 4:45, but actually I was surprised that the roll had enough scallops for my Uncle's dinner. I ordered a clam strip dinner do he could have the coleslaw and fries. So all in all for $25+ I thought it was a fair price for the amount and quality of food. The young staff was very accommodating as I was in a bit if a rush and the young man who prepared the food had great customer service ????.
I actually assisted another patron to his car with his meal and delivered someone there shake....dies that mean I get an employee discount ????
Whether you are stopping by on the quick it plan to sit at one if the tables, I don't see how you could go wrong. Glad I gave Axel's a second chance, we'll be back.

Asked for sugar free ice cream and didn't know which one was better and she asked if I wanted to try them both and loved them both so I asked for a half a scoop on both and no problem. Awesome service and always good to see nice service and smiles. Highly recommend!

Fun little long time Merrimack eatery with the most meal choices of all the ice cream places in Merrimack: burgers, hot dogs, fried seafood, seafood rolls, grilled sandwiches (cheese n reubens). Soft n hard ice cream. Picnic tables on grass next to trees.
