Ya Mas Greek Taverna & Bar

First I want to say, tonight was the first night I tried your restaurant. I was weary, but hungry and only weary because it was 10:38, and u stopped cooking for grub hub at 10:45.. I’ve been in food a LOOONG time so I know how cooks love those late orders... anyway to make a long story short, not only did it leave your place 15 min after I ordered, but it was hot and delicious when it got here. Amazing hand cut delicious fries, and not that typical processed Gyro meat that every distributor sells now. Real braised lamb, and delicious. I can’t wait to dine in. Great job guys I won’t hesitate to order again. Amazing cooks that DO NOT sacrifice quality of taste or presentation, no matter what time you order.

I went to Ya Mas today for lunch with my husband and our two friends. Our area needed a place like Ya Mas! Both the food and service were phenomenal. The owner and staff clearly take pride in the food and establishment. All four of us have lived in Boston previously and eaten at some of the city’s top restaurants; the food and service we had today was in line (if not better than) with those top restaurants. Everything is super fresh and authentic. I felt like I was in Europe for lunch! Even the drink menu and beer options are top notch. We will definitely be back (likely weekly!).

My boyfriend and I ate dinner here last night. The ambiance is beautiful. All the decor is new and the best part is the lighting. It's difficult to get lighting perfect like they do. The food was flavorful and you can tell, made with love. We will be back to try more dishes. This was our first time eating authentic Greek food and we are happy this was our place!!

I love coming here. They have fantastic Greek homemade Cuisine!! A large variety of to choice from. The atmosphere feels so welcoming , the service staff is very friendly! I’ve coming here several times from dinner, to brunch on the weekends to a relaxing place to have a great drink. My family and friends it here! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I came to Ya Mas the other week because we heard great things about this restaurant. I have been to a few Greek restaurants in the New England area and none of them compare this place. I grew up in the largest Greek area in NYC and Ya Mas is just as good and even better than most of them. When my wife and I walked in, we were greeted with that Greek hospitality that you get when you walk into one of your family’s home. The decor was outstanding and all the staff was so welcoming. Once seated our server asked us if we had been here before( which we haven’t) and went through the menu with us and gave us recommendations . We ordered a couple of appetizers and we shared the pikilia for two. The flavors and aroma coming from our meals just brought me back to what a real home cook Greek meal is. The food was the perfect amount for my wife and I . When it comes to Greek food I can be really picky but this place really out did themselves . Kudos to the owners and to the whole staff who put their heart and soul into this place. I will be coming here and recommending Ya Mas for years to come.
