The Country Chef

Large portions. The breakfast was very good. Got the fish and chips for lunch and there was too much breading on the fish for my tastes. Good flavor...just a bit much. The staff is friendly. Hope this place makes it as I live nearby. The other lunch dishes in my groups visit were good. Give them a try!

The fish and chips were delicious, cooked perfectly. Owner came out spoke to the diners to make sure we had everything we needed. Love the Country Chef.

Very friendly and welcoming. I had prime ribs on Primary day - cooked right and tasty. Owner/chef even came over to make sure we were satisfied.

It's great to see this restaurant open again. My family and I are local and eaten there 4 times. The first time was a Friday and was packed, no tables available. They warned us it may be a little slow getting food but we had a seat at the counter anyway. The staff entertained my son and gave him crayons an a coloring book. Food was good when it came out. Each time we returned the food and service was good. I do wish the menu was laid out a bit different, they could offer more dish options without adding more ingredients.

The food was good but basic. The waitress was not great. Ordered soup before the meal, she forgot. Had to remind her but then it came with the meal. No silverware on the table, had to ask for it. Next table order something they were out of but the waitress didn't know.
We'll give it another try, hope it improves
