Maaz’s Chicken

I didn't go in person, we doordashed but the food was hott and this was my first experience, the chicken and lamb bowl was to die for. The fried chicken was great and the corn nuggets were a great treat. Will be a loyal customer. 💯

My grandson and I went for lunch today. He ordered the chicken steak sub ( huge with plenty of filling) he only ate a 1/4. I had the chicken tenders. Delicious and again huge portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Even gave us a sample of their fried chicken while we waited. ( I already had their chicken bucket dinner) Crispy, not greasy, yummy! The potatoes with gravy, and coleslaw are better than the usual chicken chain. We Will be back again. My grandson wants it for his birthday dinner next week. Finally somewhere to go that isn’t pizza! Menu had a variety of different foods in it. Not just chicken .

I finally got a chance to try some of the food I've been hearing people rave about for weeks. We got the 3 subs they have and each of the three of us planned to try each one. Before taking my first bite I realized there were mushrooms in all of the subs. I'm moderately allergic, not going to end up in the ER or using epipen, but messes up my stomach etc. So unable to pick all mushrooms from the gyro or steak sub because of the color I didn't get to try those....
Chicken sub- BUT I was able to on the chicken sub... YUM!! I'm super picky with chicken anywhere; it has to be cooked just right, any gristle and my appetite is gone etc. The chicken was oerfect! The flavor is great! I tasted a slight sweet flavor, maybe the peppers mixed in? There is a minor kick, but nothing, even a spicy light weight like me couldn't handle.
Gyro and steak subs input from hubby and teen daughter who don't do reviews... "They were good" and "Good". They ate them without complaint or delay so I'm guessing they were pleased.
The very nice gentleman behind the counter gave me bbq sauce, ketchup, and hot sauce incase we wanted it on the subs. The subs were great without added sauce.
We also chose some of the fried corn... these sweet little puffs of corn goodness are yummy.
The atmosphere was very welcoming in this place. The gentleman that waited on us behind the counter was very kind and thoughtful. He legitimately cared and talked to me. My father, who was with us, mentioned about my husband's back injury from work and this guy really wanted to know what happened. He was sincere and seemed concerned and even shared experiences while working on our order. This made me feel like a valued customer, not just someone to rush thru, serve and send on my way.
On a Sunday night there was pretty consistent business. We will definitely be going back to try other things and possibly try the steak and gyro subs without mushrooms :) Great Job Maaz!!!

Maaz’s has quickly become a new favorite stop, multiple times a week! Have been in for lunch, and gotten take-out for dinner, each time as delicious as the last. The staff is kind and friendly, and I always look forward to stopping in. My favorite meal is the rice plate with chicken and white sauce, but have tried the tenders, wings, and fried chicken…all have been absolutely delicious. If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for??

The staff was very pleasant and the food delicious. This is the second time we've ordered from here. My daughter is picky and loved everything she ate. We will definitely be back. Happy to have something new in town!
