The Barley House Seacoast

The food was delicious!! The waitress, the host and the rest of the staff were really nice and professional. YES I WILL GO BACK.

Disappointed. I have gone here several times and really labelled their Burgers the best ever. Great fries and also decided to try their battered Fish (haddock). Loved that too!. Came back last night 7/12/19 to have the Haddock. Tasted just like leftover lunch. Got a big mound of room temp fries from the bottom of the frying basket, warm coleslaw and the crunchy ends of the fried fish was inedible. WHAT HAPPENED. I am not giving up though. I will try one more time and get a burger.

The food here that we had was outstanding. The waitress we had was super nice. They even gave us one of our desserts for free since it was our anniversary. The only reason I gave four stars was because it was trivia night or something to do with guessing songs, which was on the opposite side of the restaurant, but it was too loud. It was annoying. Otherwise, we would go again.

My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have a good beer selection and you can order flights to sample them. The pre-meal bread you get comes with some delicious homemade hummus. The burger I got was very tasty and cooked just how I'd asked for. My wife got the Shepard's Pie, which didn't have a ton of gravy as she typically likes, but it was still very good. It's a very generous portion, so bring your appetite! The wait staff was attentive and very nice. Overall, it was a great dinner and we can't wait to try some more menu options.

I had a great meal and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The food was great. This restaurant has the best burgers I have ever had. The staff was friendly and polite. I reccomend this restaurant if your hungry or just want a beer (great selection of tap beers). I will definitely return.
