Soo so so good the food put a smile on my face and made me nostalgic for my southern bbqs. The service is fast. The food was hot and stayed warm while driving in 17 degree weather. The pit master is a really awesome nice guy. He appreciates the patronage. So pay a visit! I got the pulled pork bomb and let me tell you...I wished I could fit three more in my stomach because my taste buds are still dancing. I also got ribs. Smokey ribs that are tender light on the sauce he let's you decide how much sauce you want because he give extra on the side. And I'm thankful that he did because the sauce reminded me of that true smokey tangy sauce. I was putting sauce on everything lol. Nothing was too over the top with flavors. I don't know how The Smoke Shack gets it done to have the flavors, textures dialed up just right. But, they did it! Its been a long time since I've been so happy and excited to eat. The Smoke Shack got me excited again. Great spot for comfort food. Sign sticks out a little so you can see it on the road but you may miss it. I drove past it lol... but then I came back. Clearly, for me that was a good decision. Pull up. You won't be disappointed.

Fast forward...I like to go back and try a good amount of the menu. So I went back to Jeremy's Smoke Shack. Still not disappointed with the pulled pork, mac and cheese, and the cornbread. But, this time I tried the brisket dinner. I hate to do this but, honest reviewer. The brisket was dry and over cooked. I was also surprised that it was cut up in tiny square slithers. Overall taste was a miss. Very dissatisfied with the brisket. Also got a bowl of chili. I'm going to assume they didn't add any seasoning to the chili to cater to those who aren't in to spicy foods. But, even without the spice, the chili was much like the brisket... lacking in flavor. Reminded me of a canned tomato based Hormel chili just with a few bits more of ground beef and extra beans.
Despite this I will go back and try more items from the menu. High hopes for redemption.

Decent place, chili was good, pulled pork was better than a lot of the same type places. Had to wait a while for food but was worth it. Not a destination but if driving by would stop again

After driving passed Jeremy's for several years and somehow managing to resist the delicious scent of freshly smoked barbecue, I finally took the plunge today and was thankful he was still open. Even 20 minutes before closing, he still had several options available. Thankfully ribs were still available. My mother and I throughly enjoyed our rib plates and look forward to stopping in again sometime. Maybe we'll be early enough to catch some belly pork.

Hands down the best brisket sandwich and chili I have had in my entire life. Prices are decent considering the amount of food that comes with each order. The location is convenient and easy to get to.
