My wife and I both tried this place for the first time. I had the Brisket with a side of Mac, Pickle, and Corn Bread. Hands down, the Brisket was the best I've ever had. The Mac had a light mild texture and taste, I recommend adding a good amount of cracked black pepper and it's delicious! The corn bread is pretty standard, the pickle nice and crisp.

My wife had the Pulled Pork, potato salad, and same pickle and bread. The potato salad reminded me of summer, very light, more crisp potato instead of mush. She said the Pork was to die for..

Will definitely be going back, and I HIGHLY recommend it if you like BBQ year round.

I could eat that smoked turkey everyday and never tire of it. Everything I've had has been great. Great without sauce, great with it. So nice to have a place like this close to home. Smoke n Cream and now Mitchell Hill. Yum yum yum! BBQ!

Have been in a few times. Great menu with well cooked ingredients. The pulled pork sandwich and brisket dip are amazing. Beer and wine bar is also well stocked. The employees here also make this place great. We will definitely keep coming back. Good BBQ is hard to find in NH ! But please add a Frito Pie !!

Just tried Mitchell Hill tonight with my husband and daughter and we were absolutely blown away!! The food was AMAZING! But the staff were really what made the whole thing. The hostess (Nancy) greeted us as the door, introduced herself and sold my daughter on brownies and chocolate milk if she ate her dinner. The servers were all wonderful... ours was very attentive and friendly (and the place was completely full) but every server that walked by checked to make sure we were all set even though they all had full sections. We tried several meats, sides and sauces and literally nothing was disappointing. It was all delicious. We needed to take some things home and I asked if they sold the sauces because they were SO good and our server apologized that they did not and brought us a few to go containers of them. Then another server asked us which one we liked best and brought us a whole 8oz soup container to go!
I am so incredibly impressed with this experience, it is by far the best dining experience I’ve had in years anywhere in the area (Portsmouth and Dover included) and I am so very grateful that these wonderful people have decided to give it a go in downtown Rochester. We need more businesses like yours Mitchell Hill! Thank you!! Good luck to you all... we’ll be back often!

I had a sandwich that was kind of a redneck version of a French Dip - very yummy, wonderful bread. The corn bread that came with the meal also was good. My sandwich it was on a paper plate and my side dishes were on paper plates also. My dining companion had his meal on a huge baking tray covered with butcher paper. Food was ready fairly quickly. We both had one drink and the bill came to $43.
