Excellent food! They just have started out and you can tell they know what they are doing. This is a great addition to Rochester's restaurant seen. Which is very limited and frankly lame. Very friendly and good portions. I will be back. I was shocked how busy they where for just starting out. Don't miss this. Even if you are not a huge Mexican they will make sure they make it how you like it. Go in and check it out.
So so good ?
Best burrito EVER! When I order a veggie burrito at other places, I usually get the bare minimum. This was full of all kinds of veggies including sweet potato. It was so flavourful! I can't wait to get another. The place looks great too!
This place is amazing! I’m used to top notch food in south Florida... this is better. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented and every item has specific flavors and sauce combinations. This is a hidden gem of delicious clean fresh authentic food... will be back again and again!
My Cielo is now mi favorito! I sampled a lot of the menu last night minus the pelote (street corn). The tacos were great, the corn tortillas they came with were amazing; warm, flavorful, and soft. The steak, chicken, and fish tacos (fried) were so good. If you get your stuff to go, it will all come in separate containers for less sogginess when you get it home if you ask. My kids had fun crafting their own tacos from the delicious ingredients. The show stopper for us last night was the cochinita pibil. It was tender, juicy and flavorful out of this world. If I had to nit-pick, the shrimp fajitas were nothing I couldn't do in my own kitchen, but still was a healthy portion and the shrimp were juicy and huge. I'd like to see more flavor and maybe a little more grilling on that plate. The three salsas that came with my food were all great in their own ways. The salsa verde was flavorful and spiced just right, the house salsa was flavorful and worth going in their for just chips and salsa, but the roasted pepper, dark salsa was perfectly heated and so good. I hope they aren't it so I can buy it for home. I highly recommend My Cielo. Try some Jamaica (juice) or Horchata (rice drink) too. Get away from the norm around here and sample some good Mexican food, taqueria style.
