Breakfast at Laney's

Really love this place but couldn’t find it a year later than my first review. They are moving to 192 Main Street. No longer at this location.

Excellent bacon. Excellent syrup. Friendly staff. Great place for a traditional diner breakfast!

Breakfast was very good & reasonably priced. Waitstaff was cordial, but very busy, so not as attentive as we would have liked (I went to the counter & waited to ask for a couple of items.) To be fair, I haven't been there often enough to know if that was unusual or not.

I eat here almost every weekend; they have good food, and excellent prices. They don't mind special requests within reason. I'm a big fan of adding cheese and bacon to my home fries, for example. The grilled muffins are awesome, as is the sunrise sandwich. If you see Eric's fried chicken as a special, you MUST get it. The fish-based chowders are equally excellent. On the lunch side of things, you can't go wrong with the burger. And the not-on-the-menu-but-always-availible pasta salad side is amazing. And I don't even like pasta.
They serve breakfast and lunch all day, are open every day of the year (barring emergencies) except Christmas, and close an hour early on the other holidays. There's also a laundry place next door, which is quite convenient.

Good food for a good price. Had to wait a while on the day we went but the food was definitely worth it. Had an omelette with salsa on it and the salsa was amazing.
