Village Pizza of Newport

Consistent "Italian" cuisine. Typical small town New England Pizza and sub shop where you know you're not going to leave disappointed but you'll rarely be impressed. Good comfort food.

I used to eat at this place all the time growing up and as a teen the owner would give my lil sis and I free drinks after school or when we came in occasionally BEST PIZZA EVERRRRR also...later on in life my VERY Sicilian boyfriend had VERY pleasant things to say even though he was extremely skeptical at first I told him that it was Greek owned and I promised it was good...we ordered, we ate and he was in love with the little town I grew up in????????????????????????????????????

Village Pizza is a great restaurant if you are looking for a simple, inexpensive meal. The food is always consistent and you will always receive exactly what you ask for. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. However, the food can often take a long time to come out, especially for bigger orders. I would advise ordering a calzone instead of a pizza there, they seem to be much better in my personal opinion. Village Pizza is the place to go if you are looking for consistent food and a friendly staff.
