(July 11, 2019, 12:54 pm)It’s sad that a mechanized fast food place like this feels the need to move into a small town. The Americano is bland, and at 12 oz it’s way too big. Staff member got mad and refused to make eye contact after I decided to upgrade the coffee order from plain to espresso. They called out my order and the guy in front of me ran off with it in addition to his own (because it was identical to his, and because this is the sort of things that happens when there’s no need to identify yourself when you order). So, the food of course is predictable. They remade my order quickly.
If you have cash or a credit card and time (and don’t need to use a phone to pay) try the little deli in the harbor.
The last time I went to a DD, it was in Amarillo, TX, in the shadow of the elevated portion of Interstate 40. The location fit perfectly. Here in Sunapee, it’s a sad sight. -
