Gilchrist Restaurant

We ate breakfast here and it was delicious. It was a beautiful day and we got to enjoy eating outside on their deck. They had fair pricing and fast service.

Beautiful view, delicious food, hearty servings and great service. Food came out fast and hot. Will definitely be back.

Good grub, good and fast! Nothing fancy about the breakfast, but two days in a row I've had a good sized slab of scrape with my eggs and heavenly pancakes (day1) and just as heavenly French toast...make it your go-to for breakfast!

So glad we gave this place a try after the sleek and loud world of the casinos. Nestled along the waters edge, Gilchrist is a comfy, down-home restaurant with a maritime atmosphere. It had excellent service, very good breakfasts and the best coffee I ever had. I even drank it black! Happy that they served grits as a side option too. Omelets were nicely filled with cheese, etc. Blueberry pancakes were really good! Prices were average, regular size portions. I can’t wait to go back for the coffee again!

Food was good and fast. I thought the prices were a bit on the high side, especially when considering the portion size. Nice location. Would have been nice to visit later in the spring or the summer.
