The Irish pub is a stone's throw from the Boardwalk, so very easy to get to if on foot. The signage is minimal which makes it very easy to miss if not paying attention. The decor feels slightly out of date, and gives the smell and feeling of a museum instead of an Irish Pub. The menu has no Irish food items, the food is priced well, but lacks a little oomph. My crab cakes lacked crab, and my fries were limp and soggy. The redeeming qualities were the feel of history, the kind waiter and the low prices.

I really enjoy this small Irish Pub. It is one of oldest bars in NJ, if not the oldest. A real dive, but in a good way. They are cash only. Many locals and tourists keep this place busy every day, especially around dinner time. Last time I was here, a local talked my ear off for over an hour. Really nice, laid back customers. They also have the best jukebox in AC. It's an old school CD jukebox with a good variety of music ranging from Johnny Cash to Nirvana. My only gripe with this bar is that they only have male bartenders and even though they are not rude, they are not super friendly either. This is the only reason why I can't leave them 5 stars. They also have a very limited menu, mostly just corned beef, roast beef, ham sandwiches, mozzeralla sticks, etc... The only food on their menu that is actually "Irish" is corned beef. Still, always a fun time here!

A tightly packed, Irish pub. Great beers, great food, and outstanding, no nonsense service. The man behind the bar kicked out some hooligans on our last visit. He made the visit perfect. Love this place.

The food is delicious. Comforting, filling, and inexpensive. It's the type of food that just hits the spot.

The inside is really cool. It feels like it is from a different era. If you look at the walls there is all sorts of neat posters and pictures from the past.

This pub is amazing and well well worth a visit. The locals where all so friendly. The drinks great. The owner even popped over to say hello and say thank you, which was super impressive. 110% will be back - thank you so much for an amazing experience
