White House Sub Shop

Great sandwiches at even better prices! Wonderful place to grab a bite to eat. The half size is plenty for two normal people to share.

I visited this famous sandwich shop once many years ago. My most recent visit found it virtually unchanged. This is a good thing. When I go to a famous landmark like White House Sub Shop I want to feel that I am experiencing history. that is what I felt here.

I had the pepper and egg sandwich with sausage. It was excellent. The bread (which is delivered several times a day from a nearby bakery) was very fresh. The eggs, peppers, and sausage were done to my liking.

There is a feeling of community at White House Sub Shop. Many customers are locals and regulars. he service was prompt and even during the lunch rush I did not have to wait long for my sandwich.

I highly recommend that you stop here the next time you are in Atlantic City.

Old school sub shop - has been in that spot for more than 70 years. Big portions, fresh ingredients and friendly service. The decor (and feeling of cleanliness) are still stuck in the 1970s - the celebrity photos along the walls are pretty aged. Still, a great place to stop on the way into, on a mid-day food run during, and on the way out of Atlantic City.

I have only been here twice. Located in Atlantic City the sub shop had been a very popular place for a very long time. The walls are lined with autographs of famous visitors throughout the is years . Today we went and got there before it got crowded. My wife had the Italian, I had a cheese sub. My daughter also had cheese. We all enjoyed our subs. We also enjoyed the service. The waitress took our order and quickly got what we asked for. She was outstanding. Next time we go to AC, we will be sure to visit the sub shop again.
