A great diner. Old school style with the cooking area right out in the open behind the counter. Excellent diner fare with personable wait staff. Feels like home but without the cleanup. Prices very reasonable.
In my first time at this restaurant, it was obvious that Johnnie takes a great deal of pride in her work. She grills right in front of you and the food comes of the grill hot and delicious. It is difficult to improve upon breakfast, but Johnnie has done just that and succeeded brilliantly. I only wish I lived a little closer.
Jerry and I enjoyed breakfast...well prepared and tasty! We sat at the counter next to a wonderful lady...everyone was so friendly. There was certainly a large flow of patrons but Ms. Sara sure kept things running smoothly. Great spot! We will definitely revisit!
This place is like a diner. It was very good. We had the waffles. We ordered one with blueberries and one with bananas. They came with a lot of fruit. They also have all the standard diner food. It's a small Restaurant. It has tables and booths. Almost all tables were filled. Even the policemen were eating there. Service was very quick. There was also someone constantly filling everyone's coffee cups. I really loved it.
We were heading to another diner and saw this place and it drew us in as we saw about 12 people enter, especially as we sat in the car deciding whether to go in because it only took cash. The creamed chip beef and over easy eggs we had were excellent. We sat at the counter and watching the hustle of everyone was entertaining. It's on a scenic out of the way drive home from Atlantic City, but we'd visit again.
