Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Solid BBQ place. Waitress recommended the ribs and they did not disappoint. Have to travel to this area sometimes and will definitely be back here!

I'm a transplant from Cincinnati and somehow never heard of this chain until a while after I moved to Jersey in June of 2018. I'm not a huge BBQ fan. So when I go to BBQ places, I don't expect to say great things. Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que's good variety of sauces (I love the devil's spit...just a little bit of kick, but not too much). The complimentary Saratoga chips that come with the meal. The fun atmosphere. I've been to two locations so far. Love this place!

Usually a great meal... But this time my wife got a chicken sandwich with bacon ...they forgot the bacon! I got the Texas brisket which sounds awesome and usually is except the brisket was dry. Maybe the cook was sleepy.

This was my first time here.
We were greeted and taken to our seat promptly.
Waitress "Alisa" was very nice and informative and provided great service with a great smile and enthusiasm! She promptly informed us that the draft beer taps we're having problems so the draft beer was not cold enough.

We ordered wings for an appetizer and "Alisa" suggested that we get them with no sauce. (So we could try the different sauces provided at the table). She also gave us a generous sample of the "Pineapple rage sauce", which was delicious but a bit spicy.We decided on the sample platter for our entree' and we chose the "Sweet and Zesty" sauce. The platter was enough for 2 or 3 as per the menu. We took half of it home and no room for the delicious desserts that we wish we could have tried!
Overall dining experience was great!
Service that "Alisa" gave us was very friendly and above and beyond!
I will be back for more delicious BBQ and I hope "Alisa" will be there too!
