Sunday Gravy NJ

The Sunday Gravy was great and authentic, according to my fellow diners who said they grew up eating this dish every Sunday. Portions for entries, salads, and sides were large enough to share, as advertised by the server. One of our party was not impressed by the preparation of the veal chop special. It was overcooked to the point of being uncuttable by a serrated steak knife. It is not recommended but the Sunday Gravy certainly is. We will be back.

One here with a bunch of great friends to start our monthly restaurant outings. It was a great start! Service was wonderful, friendly and right on point. I can't say enough about the food, delicious! We will definitely be back.

My friend and I had such a great experience. The staff was great we had an early reservation and we're greeted right away and the hostess was very friendly. Our server Paula was so sweet and gave great recommendations. Now the food! It was simply amazing!!! We got some stuff and shared it all and so happy we did because we loved it all! The gnocchi, eggplant, arancini and calamari with rock shrimp were all excellent. So many unique flavors! They put their own twist on traditional dishes and it definitely worked! We had the lobster ravioli for dinner and it was the best ravioli I've ever had. So many other things I want to try so I will definitely be back soon.

The place was packed when we arrived. That says either everyone wants to try something new, or the food is excellent. For us it was BOTH! Service was excellent, everything we tried on the menu was exceptional. Believe me we love to eat, so we tried a great deal of items, but the very best in our opinion was the Home made Gnocchi (like none we have ever tried). Comes with the highest of recommendations, don't miss this one! The offerings will really tickle your taste buds for sure!
