    It's you typical home town bar. Moderately priced drinks with friendly bartenders.

    I havent been here in almost 15 years. And I lived it the same. The staff is always so incredibly friendly. And when you go in there you feel like everyone is family. Went in with my 3 kids and extended family for my uncles 70th suprise party and even my kids, aged 3, 8 and 12 had a blast!

    Maynard's is the greatest dive bar in the history of dive bars, in the sense that its kind of too nice to be a dive bar. This place is, bang for your buck, probably the single best place in Margate, or at the very least, on the west/south side of Jerome Ave. A great place to kick back, have a few beers, and get some grub. Also a great place to get away from the snooty folk. Not to say people with big money don't go there - wealthy people definitely do go there, just not the rude and judgmental ones. If you're looking to have a drink after spending a few hours at the beach WITHOUT killing your wallet, THIS is your place.

    Went for a sandwich and a couple drinks with friends. Music was great. Food was delicious. Would definitely go again.
