I stopped in this location on Market St. In Saddle Brook solely based on logistics, I was going to pick up my just barely 20ish Granddaughter from work (in the middle of the day mind you) for reasons which she swears are not only real but also completely truthful. But I've learned the difference between her truth and the truth.

Since I agreed to already burden myself, my Daughter (her mother) decided to add to that burden and asked that I bring her a $5 Ham and Provolone sandwich from Blimpie's.

Upon entering the shop there was one gentleman in line waiting to place his order (nice guy I'm sure but definitely not classical trained for this endeavor like myself) so while he fumbled his way through his order(s) I availed myself the use of the restroom, which I found to be well appointed (clean, pleasant aroma, proper supplies, etc).

After my restroom detour, the previous mentioned gentleman was still fumbling through his order(s), one of the workers who had been assisting the customer who was ahead of Mr Fumble broke away from the normal Blimpie assembly line and came to take my order, now me having gone through much training in life for just this type of moment (being the youngest of 11 kids means you get sent to the store a lot and if you don't get the order correct you will make a return trip) I was ready, clicking off each option with steadfast assurance and pin point accuracy, and when he tried to trip me up (oh yes he did try) with the mayo query (she didn't say and I know there are some places that she likes the mayo and others not so much so I eighty sixed the mayo.

While I waited for this kind person (he could have left me there to flounder in Mr Fumble's wake and been well within the Blimpie training and operation protocos) to finish assembling the sandwich we exchanged some lite banter about how my voice reminded him of Morgan Freeman, I've often gotten this response while working at a Trader Joe's in Clifton.

So now I've reached phase 3 in the Blimpie assembly line (and some of you thought I would never get here, but wait till I reveal where my friend and yours Mr Fumble is) the cashier aka the closer and/or the up sell position person, whom not to be out customer serviced by the middleman (veggies and dressing's), in Blimpie's 3 pronged assembly process feigned a mild disappointment that I was not paying with a card cause he was hoping to get my autograph, to which I replied what we really needed was a way to make cash transfers from Morgan Freeman's accounts to mine via the telephone cause that would be fun for awhile but just know that eventually we would get caught. So I paid for my daughter's sandwich and we all shared a good laugh including Mr Fumble who had at least figured out which meats and chesses he wanted on his 2 sandwiches.

Overall long story short (I know I hate when this is done to me but I'm just testing to see if you are still awake, amused, or even annoyed because its never short after that statement) great customer service, clean usable restroom, and according to my daughter they make a very good sandwich.

So stop in and tell them the Morgan Freeman sounding guy (definitely not a lookalike by any measure) sent you, it won't get you any discounts but you may be able to leapfrog Mr Fumble (whom I truly do love cause no matter the obstacles before him he was determined to get these 2 sandwiches correct. BTW even though he didn't assist me customer service props to the young man at phase one, the greeter/bread/meat/cheese position who never stumbled while assisting (say it with me) my friend and yours. . . Mr Fumble!

Great customer service and great quality menu options. This Blimpie restaurant was professional and accommodating for weekly catering for my summer camp and provided great value, always on time, and always accurate.
