I was working in the area and didn't even know the place was open due to the construction on Kinderkamack Rd but I gave it a shot once I saw the guy in the window. Now from the outside it doesn't look like much, mostly due to the road work and the ripped up parking lot for the new curb, anyway once you get inside, the manager is a total sweetheart! The main staple seems to be cakes and deserts which I didn't want but the gentlemen made me a grilled and roasted red pepper, fresh motz, etc.. sandwich on toasted fresh roll... I can't even say what else was on it but it was amazing. He threw in some sort of cake in the house. So friendly. I had to practically argue with him to charge me. Also I was so happy with the service and the sandwich I ordered eggplant topped salad, a whole assortment of cheeses, etc... very European (I assume). Anyway lovely place, lovely lovely staff. I recommend for a quick light lunch!
