Manjal south Indian cuisine

Great service and decent prices. Tandoori chicken was better than a lot of other places. There are two locations, one in Fair Lawn and one in Ridgewood, make sure you know which you're planning to visit. Service was friendly at both.

This is the first location of Manjal, run by the same folks as the Manjal in Ridgewood, and it is just as good! The folks who run this wonderful little local restaurant chain are lovely, and deserve your support. Order takeout, or go sit down with them and experience their warm hospitality - you won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for authentic Indian flavors this is the best place to dine in or take out from in New Jersey. While most Indian restaurants are content with serving the same old North Indian and Americanized - sweetened dishes - this place keeps it close to the what real true Indian flavor and spice is all about.

I’ve been here multiple times now with my family and friends and all agree this is a great place with a great variety of veg and non-veg dishes. Very simple and direct menu and neat little spot to be.

To the owners- please don’t change. Keep it all the way it is - please. I’ve been waiting years for a place like this to pop up near me.

This small Indian restaurant right off the road has good food with some good unique choices that are different than the normal Indian restaurant. The food has a nice spice level and is quite delicious. Service was fast and food got ready in a hurry. It works great for takeout as well.

Everyone, you MUST try Manjal. I grew up in India and have visited a couple times since childhood. Won’t say im an expert, but I know enough to tell good Indian from bad Indian. This was good Indian! I wish I’d taken photos of our lunch - the presentation was unbelievable (food was served on leaves). Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.
