Batten Ramen

Nice one of the few originally Japanese ramen store in the Fort Lee area. It used to be the only choice and the noodles were authentic. Now the chefs had changed and it became just like a cooky cutter Japanese Ramen store just like any other ramen stores.

The special Clam ramen was amazing! Cute little place to come in for some ramen.

This joint has excellent dining fare and outstanding service, Brent took excellent care of our needs. My wife and I saw this place while driving by Fort Lee. We got fried calamari for appetizer, it was tasty and crunchy.

She got the Asari Clam Salted Butter Ramen, she loved it. She mentioned how well seasoned the broth is and how delicious the ingredients were.

I got Curry Katsu-don. I was given plenty of Curry sauce but only one slice of Katsu-don. The curry was exquisite and the breaded pork was crunchy and yet tender inside.

I will like to come back to try other items from their menu.

Definitely a hidden gem. The service was quick, the ramen was good, the house tea was tasty and they allow you to take home you're left over which is a definite plus.
