Staff was very friendly and helpful . I went to grab lunch on my break and they quickly helped me. The food was great I was so stuffed. The price was very good and I received a good amount of food. I even took some home with me.
The halal guys are known for their unique chicken which distinguishes them from all other trucks in the city. They use white shredded chicken.
I tried this new location in fort Lee today. Not a bad experience but the chicken is definitely not the same. It was more dark meat and in big chunks just like any other food truck in the city taste wise.
The staff was very nice and professional!
I love Halal Guys way too much. It's like an addiction and these guys are my plug. Happy to have one so close to home.
I always order the hybrid chicken and beef gyro. Got pineapple mango drink too. Staff nice as always and store was clean. Food was very good.
Recently stopped by and had a very pleasant experience! I love halal guys and have visited the Newark and Teterboro locations. However, Fort Lee is my new favorite location and I’m so glad they opened since they’re only 15 minutes away from me. My platter was nice and full and it was so fresh and delicious. They were also very happy to accommodate my special requests. The staff here was very friendly, and since it’s a newer location, they were all helping each other out since many new employees are still training and learning the ins and outs of the job. Had such a pleasant experience and I’m happy to give them my business. Keep up the great work!
As an NYC commuter, I had few opportunities to try Halal guys from their original mid town street cart. Was happy to see them opening a store in Fort Lee.
We decided to stop by during off peak hours, 4pm on Saturday. When we arrived we saw the giant grand opening sign in front of the store. Inside, luckily on 4/5 people were in front of us, but the restaurant was packed. The kitchen was really crowded, everyone seemed working intensely at their task.
I ordered the combo platter. I wasn’t really excited with the plain lettuce and other side options. Even when I previously tried halal guys, I didn’t like how they cook the meats without much flavor. Especially the chicken is totally blend. The white sauce is the saving grace that makes the meal somewhat flavorful.
The service was pretty good. Our meal was ready within couple of minutes. At the register, I mentioned Yelp event, and the lady wrote down my name. Overall it was smooth decent experience, except the food that I have had better similar platters in other places.
