Really good open face steak sandwich. Good atmosphere
The Glen Rock Inn, sounds like a motel lol, but I assure you it is not. Its a small pub/restaurant, that reminds me of Cheers T.V. Show, where everybody knows your name. I must admit that good bands play here. This place has been here for awhile, its kind of a staple for Glen Rock residents. Every now and again they have bands come and play. Most of the time when the bands or entertainment is scheduled, they get a packed house. Its nice to have a place thats local that has venues like this. The food and staff are fun. I'd come back with friends to enjoy the pub. (There used to be another restaurant/pub not related to the Glen Rock Inn in Rochelle Park NJ called (The Junkyard), which also had awesome bands come and play on their stage upstairs, but unfortunately it closed down some years ago, but I do remember how fun it was to get everyone together to go for a fun night out back then...nowadays as we are older harder to get everyone out. Our lives have changed but one thing stays consistent is we remember our good memories from back in the day. Now we make new memories when we come here..
Great food! The wings are really good....I remember not caring for them a while back, but they changed the way they do them. Other great dishes: Chicken Rancho Sandwich, all the soups are great. Excellent holiday dishes on St. Patty’s Day. Every bartender is awesome. Rich....Cindy and Frank! You can’t go wrong with either one of them! Nice beer selection too!
Also, I like this place on Sundays. Plenty of screens for football!
Had my dads memorial there. They were very accommodating and the food is great. A cozy rustic place in the center of town.
First time there. Waitress Nancy was very attentive. If you plan on getting the hot pretzel appetizer, don't plan on finishing dinner! It's huge! They didn't give us much time between the appetizers and main course, but it was fine.
Good food, clean place, good family atmosphere. We'll be back.
